After 25+ years in software, I found myself (like a lot of folks) suddenly unemployed. So instead of jumping back into the corporate blender, I decided to hang out my own shingle and build something small, sustainable, and maybe even meaningful.

GarageMahal is my shot at a “working retirement”—doing solid dev work, mentoring, writing, and helping others build cool stuff—without the overhead, politics, or meetings that could’ve been an email.
